MEET OUR PASTOR AND FIRST LADY
PASTOR JEFF TWIGGS
Jeffrey Charles Twiggs is the Senior Pastor of Freedom Movement Church and has been called to pour into the lives of God’s people through passionate preaching and teaching, intense worship and discipleship. The Lord has given Pastor Jeff a multi-cultural and multi-generational vision for ministry that has a solid foundation of the unconditional love of God, the truth of His Word, and the power of His Spirit. He has a heart and passion to equip and empower all people to walk in their God-given purpose.
Pastor Jeff loves to worship God through music and he plays keyboard and percussion. As a die-hard sports fan, he cheers and roots for his Washington, DC teams and the Los Angeles Lakers. Along with his beautiful wife Teraza, they have three incredible children, Heaven, Jeffrey II and Kristen. Pastor Jeff prays that the Lord will continue to be glorified in his life.
TERAZA TWIGGS
Teraza serves as Freedom Movement Church’s Executive Director. She has worked in full time Ministry for over 20 years and enjoys the process of collaborating with others to create strategic environments where true life transformation happens. Teraza brings a dynamic unfolding vision for community, seeing people walk in freedom, as well as a heart for seeing people walk in the purpose and plan that God created them for. This Passion is fueled by her deep conviction that people are simply “better together.”
In addition to being the Executive Director Teraza is also the First Lady of Freedom Movement Church where she is married to the Senior Pastor Jeff Twiggs. She has 3 amazing children who she loves dearly. Teraza is very gifted in interior design and manages her own interior design firm. When away from Freedom Movement Church and her design business (Next Level Signature Design) she spends most of her time enjoying her family, extended family, and friends.
